HOW TO OCCUPY YOUR KIDS WITH THE POSITIVES

Child upbringing is one inevitable burden that no Parent can avoid.

The responsibility that goes with it is huge and that is why intending couples are forewarned not to engage in making babies when they are not prepared otherwise it will lead to situation they never intended to confront or handle.

Responsibility is the right word here, you have a child you must train that child or the child becomes entrenched in evil and other intolerable vices that are not only unbelievable but regrettable. You know what? Married couples love children but most times their competence to handle the responsibilities that comes with it, is most times in doubt.

 

Now with coming in of a child or more children into the family, the responsibility grows and Parents have to work harder to take care of the needs of their children. The kids have to be fed, go to school, dress up nicely and you got to shelter them and all that, it kind of sucks, right? But all these and more are often described as the unavoidable towards catering for the welfare of your Kids.

Now apart from all these, you have other bills to attend to otherwise it just chock you up and life itself becomes unbearable. Getting to this point will definitely affect the Kids and that’s why you see Parents struggling to engage in extra work and all that to keep situation under control. Now in doing all these extras, attention is shifted from the Kids. That solid foundation needed by all Kids may not be properly laid because of the rising needs of the family towards meeting the ever piling responsibilities. This time, you see that the  focus and attention toward your Kids is lost not intentional though but financial demand is unavoidably the twist. The twist will not only affect the child’s morality because of limited guidance but allow for unnecessary freedom for the child to explore the world by him or herself because of the intentional void created by the parents.

I heard a Parent crying and saying her child got her two children pregnant. How does that sound, let me explain. Her male child and female children became so captivated with sex films on TV and they decided to try it and get to know how it feels. The male child tried it with both of them any time their  Parent are not home and most times their Parent are never home, because of work, work and work. And then it happened, they both became pregnant and the male child ran away from home. The age bracket of these kids is 13-15. This is a true life story; you can imagine the pain inflicted in the heart of the parents. What an unbelievable incest. Now this happened because their Parent weren’t there to direct them. They were always out working and getting all the nice things at home. Trying to ensure that the Kids are comfortable and all that but forgetting the most important part, instruction, effective training and committed guidance.  

The truth need to be told here, having children without making concrete time for them is absolutely ridiculous because those Kids will be automatically directed by the vices in the world. You leave your kids for the world to determine their future? Then you shouldn’t have had them in the first place. Such Kids are always a threat not only to the society but to you the parents.

Neglecting a child or not giving enough attention to your child means giving your child a free ticket to make uncoordinated decisions that in no distant time will have negative impact on the child. I have seen Parent who smoke and drink alcohol in the presence of their child and also expose their sex life to their kids too. You think the child are harmless and can’t get involve. Let me ask this, why is there wild violence in Kids. Because they imitate someone out there and that is strange because the Parent who is suppose to have the upper hand in training the child to be discipline and responsible is now tolerating negligence and incapability.

There is a need to get our Kids involve in the positives. The child should be monitored right from the first day of birth. Children learn well when their eyes are on you. For example a breast feeding mother will always notice the child eyes on her when she is breast feeding her child. They just want your attention on them. As they grow, watch them. As they enrol in school, watch them. Get to know their friends or peers ensure they have no friends that can influence them negatively. Teach them the way of life, teach them discipline, love, understanding, patience, humility, hard work, and many more virtues that they will never depart from when they grow up. These are positives and when they get involved they just stay in it and never let it go away so easily. It is like a stamp on them and the impact and ripple effect on their generation will be immense.

They should be watched and corrected to do the right things in life. They should not be neglected but encouraged to always live right and allow love for others be a major part of their lives.

 Now talking about helping them, they must read right. There are bad materials out there that kids stumble upon and without their parent consent they read and start acting weird. Parent should be observant and ensure the moral safety of their kids at all times is protected.

You must spend money for any good material(s) that would help build up your kids.Some Parents love to pamper their kids with what don’t really matter nor have the potential to contribute to the future or development of their kids. And to me this is absolutely disturbing. Your kids are the future of tomorrow. Whatever you think you possess today will be handed down to them tomorrow.Think of a child not raised up well or properly in this regard. That could be frustrating, right? Parents let’s sit up now and show the compass to our children on the direction to follow so they don’t become liabilities. Invest in them, your time, money and resources and see them rise to their full potentials not only making you proud but giving you an inner confidence that even when you are not around, they won’t disappoint.
